HOW TO SAVE A PICTURE OFF OF THE INTERNET

For this demonstration I will use the photo located on the home page of this site but almost any picture you see on the "web" can be saved in your computer for later use by you.
Step one requires you to find a photo or drawing that you like.
Step two is to move your mouse so the curser is over the photo and then click once with the right mouse button. A drop down menu will appear and will look like the photo below.
When you click with your left mouse button on "Save Picture As" another window will open to help you navigate to the place in your computer where you want to store this photo. It will look like the window below.

Next click on the little "down Arrow" to get to "My Documents" where you generally want to store your "stuff". The menu that appears will look like the one below.

Click on "My Documents" and the window that opens will be where you want to go. It will look like this:

Click twice with the left mouse button to open the folder where you want to store the photo and the final window will open then you can click on save to finish the operation and your photo will be saved in your computer.

Once a file is saved in your computer you can access it to print out, add to an e-mail, or modify by using an imaging program like the ones that came with your Windows operating system (Paint and Kodak Imaging) . I used Microsoft's "Paint" to make these demonstration graphics.
Don't be afraid to explore your computer.... there's a lot of "stuff" in there!
