First I would like to pay homage to the seven brave astronauts that lost there lives last week on board the space shuttle Columbia during re-entry into earth's atmosphere. The controversy seems to be whether the cause of this horrible disaster was an accident, negligence, or sabotage. In truth we may never know the exact cause due to the tremendous damage sustained to the vehicle and the wide spread area of the debris field but I will tell you this.... If the cause of the breakup of Columbia and the subsequent deaths of her crew is determined to be anything but an accident, then someone will be paying dearly. I, like a lot of other Americans and Israelis, will be impatiently awaiting the outcome of the investigation into the cause of this crash.

The next topic would, of course, be Iraq. There is only one way to put this and I'm sure the "peaceniks" out there won't like it but it's my website and I'll say it anyway. Saddam is a monster! He has chemical, biological, and radioactive weapons. He is so close to having nuclear weapons he can taste it. He's a coward that hides behind women and children that he half starves because he's hell bent on getting an arsenal that would scare the hell out of any sane person. I still believe that Iraq was the source of the anthrax contamination we had last year and Al Qaeda does get help from Iraq. It would have been so much easier to deal with this problem 10 years ago while we were kicking Saddam's troops out of Kuwait but that is hindsight and does us absolutely no good right now so let's leave the could ofs, would ofs, and should ofs alone for now. I have family and friends that are already, or soon will be, in the middle east wearing American military uniforms. I don't want another round of desert warfare with Iraq but I think it's better to take care of this tyrant now, before he gets a working nuclear weapon, than later when his arsenal will include nukes and the possibility of thousands of our young men and women facing that kind of battle. We already know that thousands of Iraqi solders are going to die in this conflict. We also know that there will be Iraqi civilian casualties because Saddam hides his troops and weapons among civilians knowing that we try to avoid civilian casualties.

The bottom line is that I believe we are going into Iraq and we are going in soon. I want the risks for our troops to be minimal. I want all our soldiers, airmen, seamen, and marines home safely as soon as they possibly can be home. We need to get Saddam this time so we won't have to do this again.

This was written by a Dr. in Texas and is very good, please read.

I was just reading Yahoo news and the San Antonio Express newspaper.  You know what upsets me?  People with absolutely nothing to do with their lives, so they complain on how the U.S. is treating the prisoners or "Detainees" from Afghanistan. Do you know why they are complaining?  They see a picture on the news or the Internet and they see someone who is shackled and blindfolded and walking with two armed guards behind razor wire. This picture tells them they are treated unfairly.

Here is what I see....

I see a thin, sickly looking person who under severe mental duress from being bombed, was cleaned up, given a haircut to prevent infestation of parasites, and given new clothes and shoes to wear.  I see a person who is given three nutritious meals per day and a bed to sleep in a tropical climate, not the cold desert floor of Afghanistan, eating worms, bugs, and goat.  I see a person who will be able to get relief from their pains and illnesses without paying a dime for medical expenses.  They will get rest, educated, and their mental stress levels will have dropped tremendously because they were taken out of a combat area and will not be shot at again.

I see these people blindfolded and shackled behind razor wire.  I have the intellectual ability to understand why they are this way.  For those that do not have this ability let me explain it to you.  They are blindfolded to protect OUR U.S. SOLDIERS from further harm.  These people cannot plan to destroy something if they cannot see it.  They are shackled because these same people have proven they will easily give up their lives to kill just ONE AMERICAN.  We are protecting their life as well as our own.  The razor wire is a mental deterrent; just like the little alarm company warning signs most of you out there have on your home, but don't have the actual alarm system.  You would think many times over before actually trying to cross that razor wire.  For all of you people out there thinking how bad these poor detainees have it under
such strict guard, you need to do a lot more thinking about other things in your life.

I was born on September 11th, 1966, and every birthday I have from now on will never be a happy one.  Why, do you ask?  Because as I am out somewhere trying to have a nice dinner, someone will have a candle or a ribbon or something, crying about the anniversary of a national tragedy. And then I will think, about how insignificant my one little birthday actually is compared to everything else that had happened on that one day. It boggles my mind that there are actually people out there in this world, in leadership positions, head of companies that actually think that we are doing something wrong when it comes to protecting our nation and our people.  These same people will be the first ones to complain about something that happens to them when they are vacationing outside this country.  They will ask why the U.S. does not do anything about
their misfortune.  These are the same people that complain about taxes and how bad their lives actually are.

In the past few months I have taken a “wait and see” attitude with events unfolding throughout the world. I have watched the destruction of the Taliban government in Afghanistan and the constant search for al Qaeda operatives, both in their home region, and all over the world. We are seeing more and more Muslim based violence from all corners of the globe. Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Israel, and the Philippines have been areas of intense fighting. Here at home in the United States we have set up a shadow government consisting of top level people from all areas of government hiding in underground bunkers so we are able to carry on the business of the United States in the event of a successful attack on Washington.  I have come to the following conclusions:

The Al Qaida in Afghanistan are all but wiped out. The Afghani members are surrendering and turning in their weapons. Foreign nationals fighting with the Al Qaida are fleeing in large numbers. All this is happening at what our government says… “to schedule”. It would seem we are a very short time away from establishing our goals in the country of Afghanistan.

We must not drop our guard. Even though we are weeks, maybe even days, away from vanquishing our enemies in Afghanistan there are many other avenues that these evil factions could attack us. There are still thousands of Al Qaida members lying low throughout the world in many countries. It would only take one person with the right weapon to kill thousands more innocent people. There is still no definitive answer to the anthrax issue here in the United States. We do not know who sent the tainted letters or if there are more letters just waiting to be sent. We also do not know what other biological or chemical agents may already be poised to be unleashed upon us. With the holiday season in full swing we must be extra cautious of those “anti-Christians” who would do us harm and strike out during our religious holiday season.

With that said I would like to wish all of you a safe and joyous Christmas and a very happy New Year. I also want to say, “Thank-you very much” to all the men and women who defend this great nation. Your sacrifices, especially at this time of year, do not go un-noticed. I am very grateful for your dedicated service that provides us all with the liberty that we Americans prize so much.

Civilians?

There has been a lot of emphasis in the news lately about the collateral damage being caused by the bombing raids being carried out in Afghanistan by the United States. Innocent civilians are being killed. I would say to you that these “innocent civilians” are neither “innocent” nor “civilians”. In New York and Washington on September 11th there were over 5,000 innocent civilians killed with no warning or regard to their military status. The people in Afghanistan have had weeks of warning that we were coming and knew exactly who we were coming for. Anyone who has not put considerable distance between themselves and Taliban forces cannot be considered mere civilians but rather collaborators in the effort to protect Bin Laden. In a country where the majority of the men openly carry automatic weapons there can be very few true civilians. I believe that any real civilian casualties are the direct result of Taliban forces taking hostages and hiding among them in order to ensure civilian deaths. They want to cause the outrage that seems to be building throughout the Muslim community but in reality there have been very few non-military deaths compared to the losses we suffered at the world trade center. The 5,000+ that we lost there are of no consequence to them. It’s like it never happened. The only thing that matters to them is that we look bad in the eyes of the world and get support on their side to defeat us.

I read an article yesterday about 5,000 armed militants leaving Pakistan and crossing the border into Afghanistan to join the Taliban fighters. What I did not read is the story that said our planes attacked this armed convoy the moment they entered Afghanistan territory. We should not wait for these men to get dug in and organized. They left Pakistan to join the fight and die in the service of Allah. We should accommodate them as quickly as possible. The weapons and ammunition they brought into Afghanistan should have been confiscated at the border but since they were not they should be destroyed as soon as possible.

The anthrax scare we are under in the United States has proven to be more of a distraction than a crisis. I think that the purpose of these mail attacks is to distract the American people and government rather than kill a lot of people. We should be cautious and look for the next type of attack designed to kill massive numbers of people. I fear that it is coming and hope our government can avert the disaster before it hits. The source of this anthrax has been debated… no debate is necessary. This particular strain of anthrax being used to terrorize us originated in Ames, Iowa. It came from an infected cow in 1980. It was weaponized in a lab somewhere in Iraq and given to a man named Atta while he was in Europe. He later hijacked an airplane and flew it into one of the world trade centers twin towers on September 11th. There is an ingredient found within the powder designed to keep the spores from clumping, increasing the aerosol qualities of the spores. This ingredient is an identifying trademark of the Iraqi’s. No one wants to make a big issue of this at this time. We cannot telegraph our next move. We must obtain our objective in Afghanistan before setting our sights on the next target in this war on terrorism. The source of this weaponized anthrax could very well be our next target. Saddam Hussein has never been afraid of the United States.... he is an even bigger fool than Osama Bin Laden.

Where Do We Go From Here?

As stated above this page is where I post my opinions so where we go from here is purely conjecture on my part. Take it with a grain of salt but I believe we, the human race, are on a path to the deadliest era of our history. There are several names given to this time.... the apocalypse, Armageddon, or simply the “end of days”. Now don’t get all excited or upset because we are definitely not there yet and things could change in the near future to steer us off this path of destruction. I’m just saying from what I see now it looks like we’re heading in that direction.

There are several things that will happen to let us know if we are indeed on course to this perilous time in man’s history but let me preface my next comments by saying that no matter what happens in the near future, it is not a matter of “if” these events occur. I believe they will happen at some point in time sooner or later. This will not be the end of humanity; the earth will not be destroyed. We will survive and be better for it on the other side of this global conflict. World wars 1 & 2 taught us nothing about how to get along with each other. World war 3 will teach us just how fragile we are and how easily we can get to the brink of extinction. It will also teach us that we are all part of a global community and the actions of a few affect us all. We will learn to get along with each other but it will be a lesson hard learned and very hard to forget. The most important lesson we will learn from the greatest conflagration in the history of man is that there is indeed a higher power. That higher power will actually save us from ourselves and total annihilation. That being said, let’s look at the sequence of events that will bring us to the “end of days”.

WAR

Something very similar to what is happening right now will need to occur. The only “twist” that needs to happen is the involvement of Israel and a larger number of combatants fighting. Right now Israel is using the United States’ action against the Afghanistan Taliban regime and Osama Bin Laden as an excuse to go after Palestinian rebels. This has risen the “hackles” of the Arab people and could cause the already shaky support the United States has from the Arabs to wane. If Israel continues to seek retribution from the Palestinians under the auspices of the “war on terrorism” the Arab people could turn against our efforts and unite with the radical Muslims against the non-Muslim world. Widespread hostilities would ensue and the Middle East will become a boiling cauldron of death and destruction. This will not be an all out global war but rather many fierce battles in a variety of areas across the region. The rest of the world will watch with great trepidation. Many will think this is the beginning of the end and they will be right but they will not understand. While this is the beginning… the end is many years away.

PEACE

Out of Europe will come a great man of peace. He will be able to negotiate  with the combatants and stop the hostilities that are occurring in the Middle East. Somehow he will be able to satisfy all sides of the conflict and get everyone to sit down and work out a peace treaty. The Palestinians will have a homeland. The Jews in Israel will be able to re-build the sacred Temple of Solomon on its original site in Jerusalem. This is the same temple that was destroyed a few years after the crucifixion of Christ by the Romans almost 2000 years ago. The only part of that temple still standing is the “Western Wall” where many Jews go to pray today. The ancient rituals, including sacrifices to God, will resume. Everyone will be happy. The world will rejoice. The “buzz words” of the day will be, “peace with safety”. The path to destruction that we were on has taken a turn for the better. We no longer have to worry. Or do we?

WAR

As with all peaceful times in the recorded history of the earth there will be a breach of the peace contract. At the center of this new problem will be the Jewish people and Israel. After a little over 3 years of the most peaceful, prosperous times the Middle East has ever enjoyed the Jewish people will be pushed into a situation that will be intolerable for them. It will become apparent that all the events leading up to this time were carefully orchestrated and deceitfully planned for the purpose of destroying Israel and the Jewish people. Even the United States will be deceived. War will ensue. Nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons will be used. Billions of people will die. We will actually bring ourselves to the edge of extinction. Fortunately we will stop short of total destruction.

PEACE

This will be the “end of the age” and mark a new beginning. We will be too busy cleaning up and rebuilding for a very long time to worry about anything else. There will also be two thirds less people in the world and their loss will be greatly mourned. We will set our sights at conquering disease instead of people. We will amass knowledge instead of property. All will be right with the world for a very long time and we will remember….. lest we forget.

WHY?

As I talk with friends and acquaintances from other countries I get the impression that they believe the United States is about to start a war. My belief is, and I think other Americans believe the same thing, is that the war really started years ago and now the United States is about to enter the battle. Attacks on the African Embassies, the first attack on the World Trade Center, the downing of Pan AM 800 in Scotland, the attack on the USS Cole, and now the total destruction of the World Trade Center were all the beginning of this conflict. The United States has turned the other cheek time and time again but now the American people say “NO MORE”! This didn’t start Tuesday September Eleventh but Tuesday September Eleventh was the “LAST STRAW”! The United States is a GIANT with HUGE RESOURCES, STRONG PEOPLE, and GREAT ALLIES! The American people are taxed excessively, not so we can field huge armies and export war, but so we can send money, food, and aid to those around the globe that are less fortunate than we are. To help protect our friends from bullies like Kadafi of Libya, Bashir of Sudan, Hussein of Iraq, Asad of Syria and the Taliban of Afghanistan. To help those less fortunate than us shake the bondage of oppressive regimes so they can thrive in a free society. When tragedy strikes anywhere in the world the United States is the first one there to help. America is not a "bully" but make no mistake about it…. America will defend herself and she will prevail in such a way as to amaze those who really started this conflict. The perpetrators of these attacks will know who is coming for them (the free people of the world), what weapons will be used (all of our military, economic, and political resources), where they will be hit (in your backyard this time), how they will be hit (fast and hard), when the battle will start (very soon), and why they have doomed themselves to destruction (because you can’t do what you did and get away with it) They will try to stop us but there won’t be a damn thing they will be able to do about it.

It’s been about three weeks now since the attack on Washington and New York. Those of us not locally or personally affected have gotten over the initial shock and are starting to ask questions. The most hotly debated question that I am aware of is…. why would anyone do this? The answer can be found by looking at what the United States is trying to prevent even now as it makes plans to deal with this evil that plagues our society. Osama Bin Laden and others like him want an all out religious war between the Muslims and anyone who is not Muslim, but especially Christians and Jews. President Bush has made it clear that we have no quarrel with the Nation of Islam… only the terrorists hiding behind the tenants of Islam. Osama Bin Laden and the Taliban Regime have made it clear that they want the Muslims of the world to consider an attack on Bin Laden and the Taliban as an attack on Islam.

Now the next question is…. Why would these people want to start an all out holy war? What could they hope to gain? Let me preface my next statement by saying that I harbor no ill will against Muslims and mean no disrespect to them or their faith. The people of Islam are very simple people. They have no great need to be complex and are very open about their beliefs and customs. They are a very proud, deeply religious people. They face in the direction of Mecca and pray 5 times a day…. Everyday. What westerners see as primitive and backwards, Muslims see as true devotion to Allah. They are also a very tenacious people and their customs, in the eyes of westerners, may seem extremely rigid and harsh. With that being said the answer to the first question is… the purpose of this all out Holy war would be simply the continuation of a blood feud that has been going on for over two thousand years. No big secret or covert meaning. The very first Arab, a man named Ishmael, thought and claimed that the very first Jew, a man named Isaac, stole his birthright as the leader of God’s "chosen" people. God denied the Arab nation this birth right because Ishmael (Abraham's first born son) was the result of a relationship between Abraham and his wife's handmaid. Isaac was the second son of Abraham but he was the product of a union between Abraham and his wife. Ever hear of two feuding families from Kentucky called the Hatfields and McCoys? Well this is the Middle Eastern version between Isaac and Ishmael’s descendants, two half brothers whose father was Abraham. There is no way for the Muslim people gain from this action. They know this. They are just carrying out what ancient tradition demands them to do. That is their way and that is exactly what they have been doing for over 2,000 years. God chose the Jews as his “chosen” people many centuries ago. God promised that the Arab Nation would be a great people and that they truly are, but that is not what they wanted… they wanted to be God’s "chosen" people. A right they claim because Ishmael was the first born son of Abraham. Their ancient code of conduct requires them to kill those they believe wronged them. This feud has had peaks and lulls over the years but when Israel became a nation again in 1948 the fighting began to intensify. Every year Israel gets stronger and every year the attacks get more numerous and vicious. This year the maniacal mind of Osama Bin Laden has chosen to strike at Israel’s best friend and protector, in a particularly horrific way, in hopes of garnering a response from the United States that would cause the world to believe that the U.S. was over reacting and unite the Muslim people in conflict against all the non Muslim world.

The United States is trying very hard to keep this under control. This could very easily expand into the “Jihad” that Bin Laden is seeking. Only heaven will be able to help us if George Bush loses that control. Fortunately there are people like me who believe that heaven will help us.

9/15/01

This past week has been a very bad week for Americans. We have savagely been attacked by an unseen, cowardly enemy. An enemy that murders innocent women, children, and men. This enemy has been inflicting wounds on the United States and her friends for decades. The responses from the United States in the past has been tempered with compassion and restraint. We have turned the other cheek.... this has taught our enemy that they may inflict pain and suffering on the United States with impunity. They have chosen to view this restraint as a sign of weakness. They are sorely mistaken to do so.

The evening news calls this attack and act of terrorism. When upwards of 5,000 innocent people lose their lives in multiple strikes on a single day it is an act of war!  It is time for us to "drop the hammer" on these self righteous, intolerant little "bugs" that think so much of themselves and do it in such a way as to get their attention once and for all! We need to make the consequences for evil deeds such as those perpetrated on the United States this past Tuesday so horrific, so severe, as to serve notice on those who would even contemplate such acts. We should not only take their lives but we should also take their sovereignty. We have the might and if we can rally our friends around the globe in this course of action we can put an end to this madness once and for all.

I have been listening to the radio and watching the television. Gleaning opinions of both high ranking officials and the common person on the street. I pray that our President is serious when he says there will be no distinction made between those that carried out these acts and those that harbor them.  I also pray that the rest of the world is serious about supporting our actions. We do not need another world war but we do need to clean up a corner of the world called the Middle East.

There are basically 5 problem countries where changes need to be made and if success is to be achieved we will have to have the support of Arab countries too. Those problem countries are....

These countries have hardly any resources of their own and could not survive without help from their neighbors and rest of the world. So let's change our maps and take these 5 countries off of it!

The Palestinians want a homeland... give them part of Syria and call it Palestine. Israel is too small for them to live comfortably in anyway. The rest of Syria could be absorbed by Turkey

The Sudan could be split up between Egypt, Chad, and Ethiopia.

Libya could be split up between Egypt and Algeria.

Iraq could be split up by Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the Kurdish Iraqi's.

Afghanistan could be split up by Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.

Taking power from Kadafi of Libya, Bashir of Sudan, Hussein of Iraq, Asad of Syria and the Taliban of Afghanistan would go a long way in stabilizing the region and ultimately making the world a safer place. Let's take these "snakes", lop off their heads, and cut them into pieces. With adequate support from the rest of the world, the reorganization of these land areas could be a successful means to a very desirable end.... a more peaceful world. It would also set a precedence for the next band of degenerates (and the governments that harbor them) that thinks killing innocent people is they way to achieve their goals.

Yes this past week has been a very bad week for the United States. It would be my guess that some or all of the 5 countries mentioned above are about to have some pretty bad weeks of their own in the near future. Let's do this right the first time so we won't have to do it again.

In the words of the famous referee, Lane Mills.... "LET'S GET IT ON!"
