So... you saved a file to your computer and now you can't seem to find it. If you did, in fact save it, then rest assured that it's in there but where in this infernal machine is it?!?
If you can remember the name of the file then it will be a simple process to find it. That is one very good reason to give your files names that you can easily remember and identify. Well then let's start there and then we will look at finding files that are a bit harder to locate.

That was .....click on "start", click on "find", click on "files or folders", type in the name of the file, click on "find now". Note: make sure the "look in" box indicates where you want it to search for the missing file....(usually the "C" drive).
The files with the name you typed in will appear in the window. From there you can open, move, rename, or copy the file.
