How to put music and
pictures in the background of your e-mail.
The first thing you need
to do is save
the music or picture you like to a file. I have a folder in "My
Documents" that I have labeled "music" and save all the
music files I like to that folder. I do the same thing with different
types of pictures (like the one used for the background of this e-mail). OK....Open Outlook
Express (your e-mail program) and then click on "new mail" then
"format" go to "background" then click on
"sound". A window like the one pictured below will open. You
don't need to type in the file source where it indicates.....all you do is
click on the "browse" button and locate the file.

The next
window that opens will get you where you want to go.....just click on the
arrow for the drop down menu click on "My Documents" and then
double click on the folder the file is in and then click on the file you want,
then click on open and when that window closes click on ok and the music will
be in your e-mail.

You use the same procedure
to put background pictures in your e-mail.
Remember!!! Music
backgrounds only work with "wave" and "midi" file formats.
Also you have to have Outlook Express 5.0 or later installed...earlier
versions won't play sounds but will allow you to put pictures pictures in the
background of your e-mail.
